Entertainment Super Store

This project focuses on designing a centralized entertainment management experience that allows customers to discover, compare, and purchase streaming apps and curated bundles in one place. The goal of this page is to be a one-stop shop for entertainment—simplifying what is often a fragmented and confusing ecosystem of subscriptions.

While future iterations will support full app management (activation, deactivation, and ongoing subscription control), this phase centered on helping customers confidently shop for streaming options and understand the value of bundled offerings.

The problem

Customers want flexibility and savings when purchasing streaming services, but the underlying business relationships between content providers create real constraints. Not all apps can be bundled together, and allowing customers to freely build their own bundles could result in combinations that are not supported or contractually allowed. That said, our challenge was to design an experience that:
• Clearly communicates savings through bundles
• Respects complex business rules
• Still feels flexible, intuitive, and user-driven

The solution

The experience surfaces pre-configured bundles that offer a lower price than purchasing individual apps separately.

Rather than asking users to manually build bundles—which could lead to invalid combinations—the design allows users to express interest through app selection. Users browse and select familiar streaming app icons (such as Peacock, Apple TV+, HBO Max, Disney+, and Netflix), which then act as filters. Based on these selections, the system intelligently surfaces eligible bundles that include the apps the user is interested in—along with transparent bundled pricing.

This approach balances user intent with system constraints, giving customers a sense of control while ensuring only valid, purchasable bundles are presented.
